Σε εξέλιξη βρίσκεται η πυρκαγιά που ξέσπασε στις 11.30 το πρωί σε έκταση με πουρνάρια στην Παλιά Καβάλα.

Στην κατάσβεση παίρνουν μέρος δύο καναντέρ, δύο πετζετέλ, υδροφόρες και πεζοπόρα τμήματα της Πυροσβεστικής.

Δεν υπάρχει κανένας κίνδυνος για κατοικημένες περιοχές και ο στόχος είναι ο σταδιακός περιορισμός της πυρκαγιάς και η κατάσβεση της μέχρι αύριο το πρωί.
