Η σεισμική δόνηση που ανιχνεύθηκε σήμερα στη Βόρεια Κορέα είναι κατά πάσα πιθανότητα ένας απλός μετασεισμός της πυρηνικής δοκιμής που πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 3 Σεπτεμβρίου από τον Πιονγκγιάνγκ, δήλωσε στο Γαλλικό Πρακτορείο ο επικεφαλής του Οργανισμού της Συνθήκης Πλήρους Απαγόρευσης των Πυρηνικών Δοκιμών (Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization) Λασίνα Ζέρμπο.

«Η πιθανότερη υπόθεση αυτή την στιγμή είναι ότι πρόκειται για μία συνέπεια προηγούμενου μεγάλης ισχύος γεγονότος που μπορεί να έχει ακόμη επιπτώσεις στη ζώνη κρούσης», δήλωσε ο επικεφαλής του οργανισμού αυτού με έδρα τον ΟΗΕ στη Βιένη.
