Ισχυρός σεισμός μεγέθους 7,2 βαθμών συγκλόνισε σήμερα Δευτέρα το Τατζικστάν, ορεινή χώρα της κεντρικής Ασίας, ανακοίνωσε το Αμερικανικό Ινστιτούτο Γεωφυσικής (USGS).

Η σεισμική δόνηση καταγράφηκε στις 07.50' ώρα Γκρίνουιτς (09.50' ώρα Ελλάδας) σχεδόν 100 χλμ. δυτικά της πόλης Μιργκάμπ που βρίσκεται στην ανατολική πλευρά της περιοχής Παμίρ και σε βάρος 28 χλμ, ανέφερε το USGS.

Η δόνηση έγινε αισθητή στην Ινδία, στο Πακιστάν και στο Αφγανιστάν.

Μέχρι στιγμής δεν έχουν γίνει αναφορές για θύματα ή ζημιές.
