Σβήστηκε η φωτιά που εκδηλώθηκε λίγο μετά τις 3.00 το απόγευμα στο κέντρο φιλοξενίας προσφύγων και μεταναστών στα Διαβατά. Στο σημείο μετέβησαν πέντε οχήματα με 15 άνδρες.

Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες, από τη φωτιά κάηκαν 25 σκηνές, ενώ κάποιοι πρόσφυγες παρουσίασαν αναπνευστικά προβλήματα και χρειάστηκε να τους παρασχεθούν οι πρώτες βοήθειες. Τα αίτια της πυρκαγιάς, που προς στιγμήν προκάλεσε αναστάτωση στους εκατοντάδες πρόσφυγες και μετανάστες που διαβιούν στο κέντρο, ερευνώνται.
