Στους 12 ανέρχονται οι νεκροί εργάτες ορυχείου και στους 100 οι αγνοούμενοι από κατολίσθηση στην επαρχία Κατσίμ στη Μιανμάρ, σύμφωνα με τη μαρτυρία διασώστη.

Η κατολίσθηση έγινε περίπου στις επτά το πρωί τοπική ώρα και καταπλάκωσε περίπου 100 εργάτες ορυχείου, κοντά στο χωριό Wehkahmo, στην πόλη Hpakant, δήλωσε διασώστης στο κινεζικό πρακτορείο ειδήσεων Xinhua.

Η κατολίσθηση έγινε, καθώς οι εργάτες του ορυχείου έψαχναν για ορυκτό νεφρίτη, σε υλικά που είχαν τοποθετηθεί στον ορεινό όγκο του βουνού.
