Τουλάχιστον 32 μαχητές του ISIS σκοτώθηκαν από τις επιχειρήσεις που διεξάγουν οι αρχές ασφαλείας στην επαρχία Νανγκαχάρ, στα ανατολικά του Αφγανιστάν, ενώ τουλάχιστον 26 τζιχαντιστές τραυματίστηκαν, μεταδίδει το κινεζικό πρακτορείο ειδήσεων Xinhua, επικαλούμενο ανακοίνωση του στρατού.

Οι πολεμικές επιχειρήσεις βρίσκονται σε εξέλιξη κατά το τελευταίο 24ωρο, ενώ η διεξαγωγή τους, είχε ως αποτέλεσμα την απελευθέρωση αρκετών χωριών που είχε υπό τον έλεγχό του το ISIS στη συγκεκριμένη περιοχή.
