Σεισμική δόνηση μεγέθους 6,5 βαθμών έπληξε το βορειοανατολικό Τατζικιστάν, σε περιοχή κοντά στα σύνορα της Κίνας και του Κιργιστάν, στις 16.24 ώρα Ελλάδας σήμερα, ανακοίνωσε το Αμερικανικό Γεωλογικό Ινστιτούτο (USGS).

Ο σεισμός, ο οποίος αρχικά υπολογίστηκε μεγέθους 6,8 βαθμών, είχε εστιακό βάθος 75 χιλιομέτρων.
