Ο στρατός του Καμερούν σκότωσε περίπου 100 μαχητές της Μπόκο Χαράμ και απελευθέρωσε 900 ομήρους, ανακοίνωσε σήμερα, Τετάρτη, το υπουργείο Αμύνης της χώρας.

Σύμφωνα με το AFP, ο στρατός διεξήγαγε επιχειρήσεις εναντίον της εξτρεμιστικής οργάνωσης από τις 26 έως τις 28 Νοεμβρίου.

«Μια ειδική επιχείρηση εκκαθάρισης από τις 26 έως τις 28 Νοεμβρίου (είχε ως αποτέλεσμα) να σκοτωθούν 100 τζιχαντιστές», ανακοίνωσε ο υπουργός Αμύνης του Καμερούν, Joseph Beti Assomo.
