O δράστης της επίθεσης με ματσέτες έξω από το μουσείο του Λούβρου, τον οποίο πυροβόλησε και τραυμάτισε ένας Γάλλος στρατιώτης, κρίθηκε από τις αρχές ότι μπορεί να υποβληθεί σε ανάκριση, καθώς η κατάσταση της υγείας του βελτιώθηκε και τέθηκε επίσημα υπό κράτηση, έγινε σήμερα γνωστό από το γραφείο του εισαγγελέα του Παρισιού.

«Η ζωή του δεν διατρέχει πλέον κανέναν κίνδυνο» επισήμανε ένας αξιωματούχος από το γραφείο του εισαγγελέα, σχετικά με τον 29χρονο Αιγύπτιο, που έχει αναγνωριστεί από τις αρχές ως ο Αμπντούλαχ Ρέντα αλ Χαμάμι.

Ένας στρατιώτης τραυματίστηκε στο περιστατικό κοντά στην είσοδο του μουσείου, το οποίο άνοιξε εκ νέου σήμερα τις πύλες του για το κοινό.
