Ο τουρκοκύπριος πολιτικός Μουσταφά Ακιντζί είναι ο νέος ηγέτης των Τουρκοκυπρίων.

Σύμφωνα με τα τελικά αποτελέσματα του β γύρου των εκλογών στα κατεχόμενα ο κ. Ακιτζί έλαβε το 60,5% των ψήφων ενώ ο απερχόμενος τουρκοκύπριος ηγέτης, Ντερβίς ΄Ερογλου έλαβε 39,5%. Τον Μουσταφά Ακιτζί υποστήριξε στον β' γύρο σχεδόν το σύνολο των κομμάτων της Κεντροαριστεράς.

Ο κ. Ακιτζί θα μιλήσει το βράδυ της Κυριακής σε μεγάλη συγκέντρωση στην κατεχόμενη Λευκωσία ενώ ήδη οπαδοί του πανηγυρίζουν την εκλογική του νίκη.
