Σεισμική δόνηση μεγέθους 4,6 Ρίχτερ σημειώθηκε στις 4:40 τα ξημερώματα στα ανοιχτά της Ρόδου.

Σύμφωνα με το Γεωδυναμικό Ινστιτούτο Αθηνών το επίκεντρο του σεισμού εντοπίζεται στο θαλάσσιο χώρο 10 χλμ. νότια του νησιού.

Όπως αναφέρει η ΕΡΤ, η δόνηση έγινε αισθητή στη Ρόδο και τα τουρκικά παράλια, ενώ δεν έχουν αναφερθεί ζημιές.
