Ένας άνδρας μαχαίρωσε χθες, την Πέμπτη, έναν στρατιωτικό και έναν αστυνομικό στον κύριο σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό του Μιλάνου, της δεύτερης σε πληθυσμό πόλης της Ιταλίας, είπε εκπρόσωπος της αστυνομίας, προσθέτοντας ωστόσο ότι το επεισόδιο δεν αντιμετωπίζεται ως τρομοκρατική επίθεση.

Και οι δύο αξιωματούχοι μεταφέρθηκαν σε νοσοκομεία με μέτριας σημασίας τραύματα, είπε η εκπρόσωπος.

Σε ερώτηση αν το επεισόδιο είχε σχέση με τρομοκρατία, αυτή απάντησε: «Δεν νομίζουμε ότι επί του παρόντος αυτή αποτελεί τη σωστή υπόθεση για διερεύνηση».

Πρόσθεσε όμως ότι η αστυνομία διενεργούσε «εντατικούς ελέγχους» και ότι ο ύποπτος, ο οποίος γεννήθηκε στο Μιλάνο το 1996, τελούσε υπό κράτηση.

Ο άνδρας φέρεται να έβγαλε ένα μαχαίρι κουζίνας όταν τον πλησίασαν οι δύο άντρες για έλεγχο, ζητώντας του έγγραφα ταυτοποίησης γύρω στις 9:00 μ.μ. ώρα Ελλάδας.
