Πολλοί είναι αυτοί που αποφασίζουν να παρατήσουν τις δουλειές τους και να αρχίσουν να εξερευνούν τον κόσμο. Πως σας ακούγεται όμως ότι κάποιος μπορεί να γυρίζει τον κόσμο κάνοντας διακοπές σαν πλούσιος και παράλληλα να κερδίζει πολλά χρήματα;

Μπορεί να σας ακούγεται τρελό ωστόσο υπάρχει μια 25χρονη από την Ανατολική Ακτή των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών άφησε τη δουλειά της στα οικονομικά για να βρει το νόημα της ζωής.

Ο λόγος για την Jill DeConti η οποία πλέον κάνει ταξίδια με ιδιωτικά ελικόπτερα, κάνοντας μπάνια σε θερμαινόμενες πισίνες, τρώγοντας γκουρμέ πιάτα σε πολυτελή εστιατόρια και άλλα τέτοια αξιοζήλευτα.

Πως όμως καταφέρνει να από τις διακοπές της να βγάλει και χρήματα; Μιλώντας στη Daily Mail αποκαλύπτει πως το κάνει.

"Τον τελευταίο χρόνο ήθελα να γυρίσω σελίδα στη ζωή μου. Η δουλειά μου στα οικονομικά μου άρεσε αλλά ήθελα να ξεφύγω από την ρουτίνα της καθημερινότητας. Πούλησα το σπίτι μου και ότι άλλο είχα στην κατοχή μου για να ξεκινήσω το όνειρό μου», λέει η 25χρονη και εξηγεί τι ήταν αυτό που την ώθησε να το κάνει: «Η μητέρα μου με μεγάλωσε μόνη μου και πέθανε από καρκίνο όταν εγώ πήγαινα στο λύκειο. Ήθελα να ζήσω αυτή την εμπειρία της εξερεύνησης του κόσμου και για τη μαμά μου, γιατί εκείνη δεν θα έχει αυτή την ευκαιρία".

Όσο αφορά το τρόπο που καταφέρνει και βγάζει πολλά χρήματα, αναφέρει: «Οι βασικές πηγές του εισοδήματός μου είναι από υπηρεσίες και ιδέες που πουλάω μέσα από το Διαδίκτυο. Είμαι γραμμένη σε διάφορες πλατφόρμες ενώ έχω δημιουργήσει και μια δική μου εταιρεία μάρκετινγκ που έχει να κάνει με το lifestyle και τα πολυτελή ταξίδια σε διάφορες χώρες. Πουλάω υπηρεσίες όπως πως κάποιος μπορεί να οργανώσει ένας πολυτελές ταξίδι. Στην αρχή και μέχρι να το στήσω όλο αυτό δούλευα 12 ώρες την ημέρα. Τώρα όμως δουλεύω το πολύ 4-5 ώρες. Δουλεύω έξυπνα και μεθοδικά. Έχω μάθει να χειρίζομαι το χρόνο».

Η Jill διαθέτει ένα blog και έναν λογαριασμό στο Instagram που λέγονται «TheLuxeTravelers» και έχει 7.000 followers.

Η Jill έχει στο πλευρό της και τον 29χρονο σύντροφό της. "Τον Patrick τον γνώρισα στο κολέγιο. Είναι ο συνέταιρός μου, ακολουθεί κάθε βήμα μου. Από την αρχή είχε ξετρελαθεί με την ιδέα μου".

You know what I hate? Titles. We live in a world where we put labels on each other and ourselves and expect that we should then march through life wearing them. We feel an inherent need to place labels or titles on ourselves & other people because it makes it easier for us to judge that way- to place people in certain categories, to rank them and compare them to ourselves. Labels & titles give a false sense of making us feel important and like we are a part of a particular group. They subconsciously rule the world we shape around us. If you really think about it- some of the titles you often identify with aren't even titles that you chose for yourself. They are ones that other people told you you had to be. Regardless, whether they're labels you've put on yourself or someone else has put on you, they do nothing but confine you. They crush all creativity. They give a false sense of identity. They tell you that you have to be a certain person and that you can't really explore what's outside of that. Titles are a safe way of saying "I'm this way and I can't look past that." They really limit what you think you're capable of. Instead of these titles, labels, whatever you want to call them that we define ourselves by, we should start defining ourselves through things we are passionate or even curious about. You don't have to be an expert- if it interests you for that particular day, be that person! Be a different person every day. Be the opposite person of who you were yesterday and then the opposite of that the day after. Why does it even matter? We shouldn't live in a bubble. On any given day, choose to be whoever you woke up in the morning wanting to be. I thought this way for SO long. I thought "because I majored in Finance, I can't learn to build a website... Or because I haven't practiced a lot of yoga, I can't do yoga... because I never painted, I'm a bad artist." Its become more apparent to me that when you just say screw you to all the titles that limit yourself and your way of thinking/doing, life becomes so much more fun and new. You can be whoever you want to be so go be it. 👊🏻
