Ο οίκος αξιολόγησης αξιόχρεου Standard & Poor's ανέφερε σήμερα ότι οι ενδείξεις για ανάκαμψη της βρετανικής οικονομίας μετά την ψήφο υπέρ του Brexit ίσως αποδειχθούν «αυταπάτη» καθώς η αβεβαιότητα για τη σχέση της χώρας με την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση επηρεάζει τις επιχειρηματικές επενδύσεις.

«Ενώ οι ειδήσεις είναι ενθαρρυντικές, πιστεύουμε ότι δεν επηρεάζουν ττις μακροπρόθεσμες θολές προοπτικές για τη βρετανική οικονομία», ανέφερε σε έκθεση η Σοφί Ταχιρί, οικονομολόγος στην S&P Global Ratings.

Οι Βρετανοί καταναλωτές δεν φάνηκαν να πλήττονται άμεσα από το δημοψήφισμα της 23ης Ιουνίου, ενώ οι εταιρίες ανακοίνωσαν επιβράδυνση της δραστηριότητάς τους τον Ιούλιο πριν ανακάμψουν και πάλι τον Αύγουστο.
