Αισθητή στα νότια παράλια της Κρήτης, χωρίς ωστόσο να έχουν αναφερθεί προβλήματα, έγινε η σεισμική δόνηση μεγέθους 4,2 βαθμών της κλίμακας Ρίχτερ που καταγράφηκε στις 7:04 το απόγευμα στο θαλάσσιο χώρο νότια της Κρήτης.

Το επίκεντρο της σεισμικής δόνησης εντοπίζεται σε απόσταση 28 χιλιομέτρων βορειοανατολικά της Γαύδου.
