Ισχυρή έκρηξη σημειώθηκε κοντά σε αστυνομικό τμήμα στο χωριό Σουκουρλού, ανάμεσα στις περιοχές Τσινάρ και Μπισμίλ, στη νοτιοανατολική επαρχία του Ντιγιάρμπακιρ, όπως αναφέρεται σε δημοσίευμα της Hurriyet Daily News.

Σκοτώθηκαν δύο αστυνομικοί και ένα παιδί, ενώ η επίθεση, που έγινε με βόμβα σε αυτοκίνητο, αποδίδεται στο ΡΚΚ, σύμφωνα με ανακοίνωση του γραφείου του κυβερνήτη του Ντιγιάρμπακιρ.
