Η γενική διευθύντρια του Διεθνούς Νομισματικού Ταμείου Κριστίν Λαγκάρντ ανακοίνωσε επισήμως την υποψηφιότητά της για δεύτερη θητεία, αφού εξασφάλισε την υποστήριξη σημαντικών διεθνών παραγόντων.

"Ναι, είμαι υποψήφια για δεύτερη θητεία", δήλωσε η Κριστίν Λαγκάρντ στο τηλεοπτικό δίκτυο France 2, μία ημέρα μετά την έναρξη της διαδικασίας προκήρυξης της θέσης του επικεφαλής του διεθνούς οικονομικού οργανισμού.
