Στη διάσωση 553 μεταναστών προχώρησε το τελευταίο 24ωρο το λιμενικό σώμα ελληνική ακτοφυλακή, σε 16 περιστατικά έρευνας και διάσωσης σε νησιά του ανατολικού Αιγαίου.

Οι διασώσεις έλαβαν χώρα σε θαλάσσιες περιοχές της Λέσβου, Χίου, Σάμου, Φαρμακονησίου και Κω.
