Η Ρωσία πούλησε το ανεπτυγμένο της αντιπυραυλικό σύστημα S-400 στην Τουρκία προς περισσότερα από 2 δισεκατομμύρια δολάρια, δήλωσε σήμερα ο επικεφαλής της ρωσικής κρατικής εταιρείας Rostec Σεργκέι Σεμέζοφ, όπως μετέδωσε το πρακτορείο TASS.

Η συμφωνία μεταξύ Τουρκίας, που είναι μέλος του ΝΑΤΟ, και Ρωσίας έχει προκαλέσει ανησυχία στις ΗΠΑ.

Αρχικά η Άγκυρα είχε συνάψει ένα συμβόλαιο αξίας 3,4 δισεκατομμυρίων δολαρίων με την Κίνα για να αγοράσει ένα αντιπυραυλικό σύστημα από το Πεκίνο το 2013, όμως δύο χρόνια αργότερα ακύρωσε τη συμφωνία, λέγοντας ότι θα επικεντρωθεί στην ανάπτυξη δικού της συστήματος.
