Εάν σας αρέσει η φωτογραφία και έχετε λογαριασμό στο Ιnstagram τότε ο Andrew Ling είναι το πρόσωπο που θέλετε να ακολουθήσετε. Ο 22χρονος νεαρός και κάτοικος του Σιάτλ των ΗΠΑ ταξιδεύει ανά τον κόσμο και παγιδεύει με τον φακό του υπέροχα, μεγαλοπρεπή τοπία από την Παταγονία μέχρι το Εθνικό Πάρκο της Ουάσινγκτον αλλά με έναν πολύ ιδιαίτερο τρόπο. Γιατί σε κάθε φωτογραφία που αναρτά υπάρχει πάντα μια ανθρώπινη φιγούρα. Κάποιες φορές είναι ορατή με ευκολία και άλλες θα πρέπει το μάτι να την αναζητήσει.

Η αίσθηση δε που έχει κάποιος κοιτάζοντας τις φωτογραφίες του- όπου το τοπίο είναι απέραντο και η ανθρώπινη φιγούρα συνήθως τόσο μικρή- είναι πως ο άνθρωπος που θα δείτε να στέκεται στην άκρη ενός γκρεμού ή στη μέση μιας απέραντης ερήμου, είναι «ο τελευταίος άνθρωπος πάνω στη γη», όπως σχολιάζει η Telegraph. Ο ίδιος δε, μιλώντας στην Daily Mail εξήγησε πως «Ο “μικρός” άνθρωπος στην εικόνα είναι εκεί για να τονίζει πόσο μικροί είμαστε μέσα σε αυτόν τον απέραντο κόσμο».

One of my favorite parts of traveling has always been getting to meet others. To think that people actually live their daily lives in a place that we travel thousands of miles to see, is mind blowing.
