Διακόπηκε η συνεδρίαση στο αμερικανικό Κογκρέσο μετά την εισβολή στο Καπιτώλιο διαδηλωτών-οπαδών του Τραμπ.

Οι διαδηλωτές παραβίασαν οδοφράγματα ασφαλείας περιμετρικά του Καπιτωλίου, ανέβηκαν στην κατασκευή που τοποθετήθηκε για την ορκωμοσία του Μπάιντεν, δήλωσαν αυτόπτες μάρτυρες στο Reuters.

Η δήμαρχος της Ουάσινγκτον επιβάλλει απαγόρευση κυκλοφορίας από τις 18.00 τοπική ώρα, σύμφωνα με ανακοίνωση.
