Πριν από σχεδόν ένα μήνα, κάποιος σκληροπυρηνικός φαν της Taylor Swift ανέβασε στον λογαριασμό του στο Twitter μια σκηνή από το τελευταίο videoclip της ποπ σταρ για το κομμάτι «Look What You Made Me Do», συνοδεύοντάς την από την εξής, ταπεινή πρόκληση: «Name a bitch badder than Taylor Swift». Σε ελεύθερη μετάφραση, δηλαδή, ζήτησε από τον κόσμο να βρει έστω και μία γυναίκα πιο σκληρή και αδυσώπητη από τη Swift -και το θέσαμε ευγενικά.

Αυτό που ακολούθησε, ήταν το καλύτερο πράγμα που έχει συμβεί τελευταία στα κοινωνικά δίκτυα.
Βλέπετε, ο κόσμος όχι μόνο βρήκε δεκάδες άλλες γυναίκες που κερδίζουν κατά κράτος την Taylor Swift στην κατηγορία «bad bitch», αλλά ένα μήνα μετά το tweet του χρήστη @xnulz συνεχίζει να δέχεται καθημερινά υπέροχες απαντήσεις, λες και οι χρήστες του Twitter έχουν βάλει στόχο ζωής να του αποδείξουν πόσο γελοία ήταν η πρόκληση που έθεσε εξαρχής.
Στην αρχή οι απαντήσεις του κόσμου ήταν κυρίως χιουμοριστικές και με μια δόση ειρωνείας για το υποτιθέμενο μεγαλείο της Swift. Για παράδειγμα, κάποιος απάντησε «Ο τύπος δίπλα της», και κάποιος άλλος «Η καθαρίστρια από το Family Guy». Όχι πως διαφωνούμε. Δηλαδή, αντικειμενικά να το δεις, όταν ρωτάς τον κόσμο «Πες μου μια πιο σκληρή γυναίκα από κάποια που γράφει τραγούδια αποκλειστικά για τους πρώην της και για να δώσει κακιασμένες απαντήσεις σε όσους θεωρεί εχθρούς της, και παρότι έχει τεράστιο κοινό που την ακολουθεί πιστά, αρνείται πεισματικά να πάρει θέση στα πολιτικά και κοινωνικά δρώμενα της χώρας της, σε αντίθεση με την πλειονότητα των άλλων καλλιτεχνών, επειδή φοβάται μη χάσει τους (άκρο)δεξιούς φαν της», τι ακριβώς απάντηση περιμένεις να λάβεις;
Το thread όμως άρχισε να παίρνει μια διαφορετική τροπή από το πρώτο ΣΚ του Δεκεμβρίου, όταν οι χρήστες ξεκίνησαν να παραθέτουν ως παραδείγματα γυναίκες που άφησαν το σημάδι τους στην ιστορία της ανθρωπότητας, γράφοντας για τα τεράστια κατορθώματά τους -πολλά εκ των οποίων άνοιξαν τον δρόμο για τη θέση της γυναίκας σήμερα. Κάποιοι άλλοι, μάλιστα, έφεραν ως παράδειγμα τις μητέρες τους ή άλλες γυναίκες της οικογένειάς τους, που έκαναν πολύ πιο αξιοσημείωτα πράγματα από τη Swift.
Και κάπως έτσι, ένα αντικειμενικά χαζό tweet, μετατράπηκε από αστείο viral σε κανονικό μάθημα ιστορίας του φεμινισμού.
