After recharging, the phone defaulted back to displaying everything in Spanish. I tried off and on for a few days to get that thing back to english. I finally had to give it to Mary who figured it out in a couple of seconds. My friends with 'real cell phones' have all tried to convince me to make the leap. The thing is, I've got a girlfriend who can read spanish, my phone cost me less than $20, my plan (recharging the thing) costs me less than $19 a month, and with the money I've saved I've been able to buy a nice camera and a few very nice lenses. Δικογραφία τακτικής διαδικασίας για παραβίαση διατάξεων της νομοθεσίας για την προστασία του ατόμου από την επεξεργασία δεδομένων προσωπικού χαρακτήρα σχηματίστηκε σε βάρος ενός άνδρα, στο πλαίσιο υπόθεσης μαζικής αποστολής μηνυμάτων SMS.
Σύμφωνα με την αστυνομία, είχαν προηγηθεί καταγγελίες, σύμφωνα με τις οποίες άγνωστος έστελνε μαζικά μηνύματα SMS σε κινητά από αριθμούς του εξωτερικού (ΗΠΑ, Καναδάς) προτρέποντας τους παραλήπτες να επικοινωνήσουν σε άλλους τηλεφωνικούς αριθμούς με γυναικείο πρόσωπο που υποτίθεται είχε βρει τον αριθμό τους μέσω κοινού γνωστού.
Συγκεκριμένα, το περιεχόμενο του μηνύματος ήταν το εξής: «Σε είδα στην καφετέρια και μου άρεσες πολύ. Ο Σάκης/Θέμης/Θάνος μου έδωσε τον αριθμό σου. Είμαι η κοπέλα που σε κοίταζε επίμονα. Θα χαρώ να τα πούμε. 69..…….». Ως αριθμοί αποστολής εμφανίζονταν οι α) +17142664594, β) +17142264594 και γ) +19499031148, ενώ οι τηλεφωνικοί αριθμοί που αναγράφονταν στο τέλος του μηνύματος είναι οι: 1) 6982284235, 2) 6943544619, 3) 6948904475, 4) 6948926425, 5) 6943544569, 6) 6955741295, 7) 6948359222 και 8) 6947978267.
Στο πλαίσιο προκαταρκτικής εξέτασης που ακολούθησε, ταυτοποιήθηκε για την εμπλοκή του στην υπόθεση ένας άνδρας που διαμένει στον Άγιο Δημήτριο Αττικής.
Τα τηλεφωνικά νούμερα που αναφέρονται στο τέλος του SMS δεν χρησιμοποιούνται με σκοπό την υψηλή χρέωση ή για διαφημιστικούς λόγους, ενώ διερευνάται περαιτέρω ο ακριβής σκοπός αποστολής των SMS, κυρίως στο πεδίο της παραβίασης των προσωπικών δεδομένων.
Η δικογραφία που σχηματίστηκε για την υπόθεση θα υποβληθεί στην Εισαγγελία Πλημμελειοδικών Αθηνών.
