Η οργάνωση Ισλαμικό Κράτος ανέλαβε την ευθύνη για τη φονική επίθεση στη Νίκαια της Γαλλίας στις 14 Ιουλίου που κόστισε τη ζωή σε 84 ανθρώπους, σύμφωνα με το πρακτορείο ειδήσεων AMAQ που συνδέεται με την τζιχαντιστική οργάνωση.

"Το πρόσωπο που πραγματοποίησε την επιχείρηση στη Νίκαια της Γαλλίας ήταν ένας από τους στρατιώτες του Ισλαμικού Κράτους. Έφερε σε πέρας την επιχείρηση ως απάντηση στις εκκλήσεις για να γίνουν στόχοι οι υπήκοοι των χωρών του συνασπισμου που πολεμά το Ισλαμικό Κράτος", μετέδωσε το Amaq.
