Η Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή απαγόρευσε το σχέδιο συγχώνευσης των εταιριών λειτουργίας των χρηματιστηρίων του Λονδίνου και της Φρανκφούρτης, LSE και Deutsche Börse, σύμφωνα με σημερινή ανακοίνωση.

«Η συγχώνευση μεταξύ της Deutsche Börse και της London Stock Exchange θα μείωνε σημαντικά τον ανταγωνισμό», εξήγησε η Επίτροπος της ΕΕ Μαργκρέτε Βεστάγκερ για να αιτιολογήσει την απόφαση.
