Μηδενικές ήταν οι ροές μεταναστών και προσφύγων, το τελευταίο 24ωρο, στα νησιά του βορείου Αιγαίου. Από χθες Τρίτη έως και σήμερα Τετάρτη το πρωί, κανένας πρόσφυγας ή μετανάστης δεν έφτασε στη Λέσβο, στη Χίο και στη Σάμο.

Σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία της Αστυνομικής Περιφέρειας βορείου Αιγαίουμ ο αριθμός των αιτούντων άσυλο που είναι σήμερα εγκλωβισμένοι στη Λέσβο είναι 5.395, στη Χίο 4.170 και στη Σάμο 2.257. Συνολικά, ο αριθμός των εγκλωβισμένων προσφύγων και μεταναστών στα νησιά του βορείου Αιγαίου ανέρχεται στους 11.822.
