Αυξημένη δραστηριότητα στο πεδίο πυρηνικών δοκιμών της Βόρειας Κορέας, μπορεί να σηματοδοτεί προετοιμασίες για μία νέα πυρηνική δοκιμή, σύμφωνα με την ανάλυση των στοιχείων που προκύπτουν από δορυφορικές φωτογραφίες, δήλωσε η ομάδα παρατήρησης “The 38 North group” που έχει την έδρα της, στις ΗΠΑ.

Η ομάδα αυτή υποστηρίζεται από τη σχολή διεθνών σχέσεων του πανεπιστημίου Τζονς Χόπκινς ( Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies), ενώ τονίζει ότι υπάρχει δραστηριότητα σε τρία συγκροτήματα τούνελ στην πεδίο δοκιμών Punggye-ri, με τη συμμετοχή του προσωπικού, αλλά κι ενός μεγάλου οχήματος.

“Ένας πιθανός λόγος για τη δραστηριότητα αυτή, είναι η συλλογή των στοιχείων για την πυρηνική δοκιμή που πραγματοποιήθηκε την 9η Σεπτεμβρίου. Ωστόσο, δε μπορούν να αποκλειστούν κι άλλα ενδεχόμενα, όπως η σφράγιση της πρόσβασης, αλλά και οι προετοιμασίες για μία νέα πυρηνική δοκιμή,” ανέφερε χαρακτηριστικά η ομάδα παρατήρησης.
