Η απίστευτη ιστορία αυτής της 22χρονης έγινε είδηση στη γειτονική Τουρκία και όχι μόνο.
Η Tia Freeman γέννησε στην μπανιέρα ενός τουρκικού ξενοδοχείου ακολουθώντας οδηγίες από το YouTube και περιέγραψε όλη την απίστευτη διαδικασία στο twitter!
Αλλά ας πάρουμε τα πράγματα από την αρχή.
Όπως μεταδίδει ο Independent, η 22χρονη άργησε να καταλάβει ότι ήταν έγκυος και όταν το κατάλαβε είχε κλείσει ήδη ένα ταξίδι για τη Στουτγκάρδη.
Αποφάσισε να μην χάσει το ταξίδι. Όμως, ενώ ήταν μέσα στο αεροπλάνο άρχισε να έχει τις πρώτες κράμπες. Τις απέδωσε σε τροφική δηλητηρίαση.

Το αεροπλάνο έτσι και αλλιώς θα έκανε στάση στην Κωνσταντινούπολη, όπου θα έμενε για 17 ώρες μέχρι την επόμενη πτήση για Γερμανία. Έτσι νομίζοντας ακόμη ότι είναι δηλητηρίαση, αποφάσισε να πάει κατευθείαν στο ξενοδοχείο να ξεκουραστεί. Όταν οι πόνοι έγιναν αφόρητοι, κατάλαβε ότι γεννάει.

Όντας μόνη της σε μια ξένη χώρα, χωρίς να ξέρει τι να κάνει, αποφάσισε να κάνει αυτό που έχει συνηθίσει να κάνουν τα παιδιά της ηλικίας της: να ψάχνουν τις απαντήσεις στο ίντερνετ.

Μπήκε στην μπανιέρα και περίμενε μέχρι οι πόνοι να φτάσουν στα 2 λεπτά, όπως της έλεγε το βίντεο στο YouTube. Έβαλε το χρονόμετρο στο τηλέφωνό της για να δει πότε θα φτάσει στα δύο λεπτά. Τότε ήταν που θα έπρεπε να αρχίσει να σπρώχνει.

Όπως λέει, ο πόνος ήταν αφόρητος, αλλά χρειάστηκε να σπρώξει μόνο 5 με 6 φορές, το παιδί γεννήθηκε και ξεπρόβαλε στην επιφάνεια του νερού που είχε η μπανιέρα.

Το πιο δύσκολο κομμάτι όπως λέει ήταν πως θα κόψει τον ομφάλιο λώρο. Το βίντεο της έλεγε να τον πιάσει με έναν σφιγκτήρα πριν τον κόψει, που φυσικά δεν είχε. Έτσι χρησιμοποίησε τα κορδόνια από τα παπούτσια της. Τα έβρασε πρώτα και μετά με ένα μαχαίρι έκοψε τον λώρο, στα εκατοστά που της έλεγε το βίντεο.
So I didn’t have any clamps like it suggested but what I did have were shoelaces lol. Hear me out 😂. In Turkey everyone drinks tea/coffee so every hotel room had an electric kettle. So I just boiled some water to sterilize the laces so that I could use them as clamps. pic.twitter.com/2vObBQz6eu

Αφού γεννήθηκε το παιδί, το άλλο δύσκολο σημείο της περιπέτειάς της ήταν πως θα εμφανιστεί με ένα μωρό στην αγκαλιά στο αεροδρόμιο χωρίς να θεωρήσουν ότι το είχε κλέψει από κάπου.
Μετά από αρκετή ανάκριση από τις αρχές και την παρουσία γιατρού, έπεισε τις αρχές ότι μόλις είχε γεννήσει το παιδί.
So they called in customs, the police, a doctor & a nurse (to check the baby & me to see if I actually gave birth), and the airline higher ups. Τελικά έγινε είδηση στα τουρκικά μέσα ενημέρωσης μόλις έγινε γνωστή η απίστευτη ιστορία της.
