Ως οι μεγαλύτερες με τις οποίες έχει βρεθεί αντιμέτωπη φέτος η Ευρώπη χαρακτηρίζονται οι φωτιές στην Αλεξανδρούπολη από τη Γενική Διεύθυνση Ευρωπαϊκής Πολιτικής Προστασίας και Επιχειρήσεων Ανθρωπιστικής Βοήθειας της Κομισιόν.

Σε σχετική ανάρτηση στο Χ (Twitter) αναφέρονται οι δυνάμεις που έχουν αποσταλεί στη χώρα μας από άλλες ευρωπαϊκές χώρες, στο πλαίσιο του μηχανισμού βοήθειας: 8 αεροσκάφη, 40 οχήματα, 246 πυροσβέστες.

 

The wildfires in Greece's Alexandroupolis region are the biggest Europe has faced this year.

We have mobilised our #rescEU firefighting fleet and aid via 🇪🇺 Civil Protection Mechanism:
